This summer on NFTY in Israel, the power of watching hundreds of young adults begin a Jewish journey of a lifetime, is truly an experience in Heschelian awe (This concept is based on Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, whose writings often point out the power of wonder).

On the way to the airport to meet everybody I felt so happy I chose to work for NFTY in Israel. I feel so blessed to have such a great team working with me and can’t wait to get this summer started!! Being able to see the participants so happy to get to Israel in the airport, made me feel so lucky to be here today.

NFTY in Israel believes the opportunity to travel to Israel is one that cannot be missed. Many organizations support our mission of sending teens to Israel for a fun, educational and meaningful journey. To help offset the cost of a summer on NFTY in Israel, local communities, such as synagogues and federations, provide scholarship and financial aid to families.
