I’m Noah Bookstein and I have been going to Eisner Camp for 6-7 years. For the next three days we will be hiking in the Negev desert. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do in the summer, and although it isn’t the Massachusetts forests which I have grown to love, I expect the Negev will be just as great!

Israeli food has been much different than the food we are all used to in America. For starters, the produce such as watermelon have been extremely fresh and delicious and these fruits are served at almost every meal.

As part of our NFTY in Israel trip, we have a Chavaya experience. This is an opportunity for each of us to choose a unique four day experience. I chose the Yam L’Yam, Sea to Sea outdoor experience. We hiked from the Sea of Galilie to the Mediterranean Sea. Our bus dropped us off at Mt. Meron where we began our hike through a river.
