Shalom and Welcome to Israel, Bus 2!

I’m Noa Nitzan, I come from a small town called Gedera, and I’m a madricha on NFTY in Israel this summer!

My first day started very early in the morning because as usual I kept the packing to the last day. 😅

As I was packing, I got so excited and thrilled to see all of my campers again from GUCI and also to meet all the participants that I haven’t met yet!

On the way to the airport to meet everybody I felt so happy I chose to work for NFTY in Israel. I feel so blessed to have such a great team working with me and can’t wait to get this summer started!! Being able to see the participants so happy to get to Israel in the airport, made me feel so lucky to be here today.

After we picked up the kids and loaded all of our stuff on the bus we went to the lookout in Yaffo where the participants got a good look over the shoreline of Tel Aviv and Jaffa. It seemed like although the participants were tired from their flight, they felt overjoyed to be in Israel with all of their friends.

After seeing the shoreline, we went to check in the hotel and the participants had some time to settle in their rooms before having our first dinner together. 🍪🥧🍔🥙 Following dinner, we had our first all unit meeting with our amazing unit head, Sara Jensen.

Today was truly an amazing day and I feel like my heart is about to explode from all of the great things that have already happened and are all to come!
