We went to an outlook of the border of Syria and Lebanon this morning. Then we visited a hospital where we learned about an operation called “Good Neighbor,” that took in Syrian casualties (soldiers and people injured from the civil war) from across the border and provides them with medical treatment. Afterwards, we went to the city of Tzfat and I ate a giant, delicious schnitzel sandwich. We then walked around looking at jewelry and shops. We went into a synagogue where we spoke with a woman about values such as Tikkun Olam, thankfulness, and sensitivity. She showed us some of the underground tunnels in Tzfat, and we saw a Mikva. Now we are driving in the auto bus back to the hostel in Akko. At the hostel, we will eat in the cheder ochel, have a group night activity, pack our bags for Jerusalem, then go to sleep.
