Stepping foot on the plane to Israel for the second time, but my first time with friends was such a special feeling. Everyone was having mixed emotions, but mostly excitement. For most of my friends this is their first time traveling to Israel. Greene Family Camp has helped prepare for this trip by providing us with Israeli culture through the Israeli conscious, Israeli campers in the older units, and Erev Yisrael (Israel evening). To step out of the airport and see all of our Israeli camper friends there to welcome us was probably one of the best feelings I’ve ever had! I’m beyond excited to learn, become close with my camp friends, and explore the Israeli culture.
