  4. Don’t be ashamed of singing songs as a distraction from how heavy your backpack is
  5. Make sure you pat yourself in the back when you hit 10,000 steps
  6. If you’re not a nature person…now you are
  7. Don’t waste your energy complaint cuz it won’t work in your advantage
  8. Accept all food you’re given
  9. Hiking boots are the new Micheal Kors
  10. Take advantage of being disconnected to get to know your group
