After just under 35,000 steps, our time in Prague is done. One thing I can 100% confirm is that Prague is so, so beautiful. The different buildings, designs and how historical it all is is truly an amazing thing to look at and experience. I can also confirm (100%) that what we saw, learned and experienced will bring us closer to what this trip is all about. We saw the Jewish Quarter, which showed us what life was like for the Jews in the past. Additionally, the bridges and John Lennon Wall were sights that showed uniqueness and creativity, which was really cool. Even more so, the Old Town Square, which we went to for Pizur style meals, really showed us typical Czech food while also the culture of Prague today. Overall, it was really interesting, and hard at times, to learn the culture of the city and how everything works. But, with an open mind and a curiosity to learn so much, it shaped up to be an amazing opening to the trip.
I can also confirm one last thing, jet lag is real. It was a struggle to adjust but everyone, including the counselors, were all in the same boat and we pushed through together.
And before I sign off, I will say the 12 hour bus ride was long and hard, but it was worth it. I am so excited for Poland, and to continue this journey for myself in order to learn all about the Jewish people before me.
