At Terezin the teens learn about different forms of resistance against the Nazis practiced by the Jews in the Terezin Ghetto concentration camp. There was spiritual resistance practiced in the secret Synagogue. There was educational resistance practiced by Rabbi Leo Baeck. There was also cultural resistance practiced by the children of Prague who created a children’s theater production called Brundibar that enabled the children to express their feelings about the horrors around them in the camp.
This video is an excerpt from the actual play that they children performed in Terezin to help them cope with the Holocaust that was consuming everyone and everything around them.
