Bus 9 Has Arrived in Prague!

Shalom! We are your staff for Bus #9 from Greene Family Camp. Our names are Adi, Assaf, Doron, and Hannah and we are so excited that our chanichim have arrived in Prague to begin our trip! Our group name is Karlo, which is the name of an Israeli pudding snack!

Even though their flight was a little delayed, Bus #9 arrived in high spirits today at the airport in Prague. After gathering in the airport and hopping on the coach bus that we will use this week, we went to our hotel to get settled and freshen up before dinner in Prague’s old town square. Everyone had a little time to explore the square and grab some dinner, getting their first taste of a European city. Then, we headed back to the hotel for ma’amad, our nightly tradition where we tell the participants about the next day and sing hashkivenu together before going to bed. Tomorrow we will get to return to the old town square, as well as tour the Jewish Quarter and other parts of Prague.

Looking forward to the rest of our trip, we cannot wait to explore new places, learn about Jewish culture, try new things, and laugh together for the next five weeks. And from meeting everyone today we can already tell it is going to be an amazing summer!
