Wow! We finally got to meet our chanichim (participants) after preparing for their arrival all of last week. It was wonderful to see their faces after their long awaited arrival!
After a delicious lunch, we began our day with some icebreakers where we got our jet-lagged participants up and moving. We had fun learning more about all of the people we are going to spend the best summer of our lives with. After our unit orientation and some time to relax we headed out to the old town square where we were able to have “pizur” dinner and choose what we wanted to eat!
After a delicious dinner, we came back to the hotel for a ma’amad (wrap up of the day) and sent out very tired participants off to their beds for a much-needed sleep.
We can already tell this is going to be an amazing summer. We are so excited to get to know our participants more and explore Prague with them.
