Ready for Summer 2026? Here’s How to Follow Along!

Welcome, families!

The countdown is over, and Summer 2026 is officially underway. Over the coming weeks, your teen will explore Israel, build lasting friendships, connect with Jewish life and culture, and create memories that will stay with them long after they return home.

While your teen is busy experiencing Israel firsthand, we want to make it easy for you to follow along and share in the journey.

Follow Along This Summer

Program Blog

Throughout the summer, we’ll share updates, stories, reflections, photos, and highlights from our groups across Israel on the URJ Yallah! Israel blog.

Blog posts may be written by our directors, staff, educators, or participants and will provide a window into the experiences, conversations, and adventures shaping each journey.

The blog serves as the central hub for summer updates and family communications.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

We work hard to provide regular updates throughout the summer, but there may occasionally be gaps in photos or social media posts.

A few reasons why:

Our Priority Is Always the Participants

The health, safety, and well-being of our teens come first. Staff members will always prioritize supporting participants over posting updates online.

Busy Days on the Road

Israel days are full! Between educational programming, travel, meals, hikes, community experiences, and evening activities, there are times when staff simply have limited opportunities to upload content.

Technology Happens

Internet connections, cameras, memory cards, and other technology do not always cooperate—especially when traveling across the country. Sometimes delays are unavoidable.

Because of these factors, the quantity and timing of photos may vary from day to day and from group to group.

If you notice a pause in updates, please do not assume that something is wrong. In the event of any significant concern affecting participants or a program, families will be contacted directly by phone or email.

Welcome to Summer 2026!

Thank you for entrusting us with your teen’s Israel journey. We are honored to be part of this experience and look forward to sharing an incredible summer together.

We can’t wait to show you all that lies ahead.
